Retweet! Underwhelmed is the perfect descriptor for how I felt. I feel like there was a lot of setup, but not a lot of payoff. And the ending, the very ending right before the cut to credits, was so cheap. They needed to let that moment breathe because it didn’t have any emotional impact :/

I mean I liked the story of him feeling isolated and him trying to manage being Spider-Man with being Peter Parker, but the whole Jean Grey stuff took me out of it I’m sorry lol

No? I get that though. I think I’m the opposite, I kinda liked the unexpected crossover. You don’t really see Spider-Man and characters like Jean Grey intersect like that often

I thought it was sappy as hell 😂. I definitely would do that ending differently but I don’t blame the director or Tom I blame the Marvel machine or Disney for that matter and probably Sony too because you can just tell that was probably their idea
