just watched The Backrooms with my mom… she absolutely hated it and said it was a waste of time i thought it was cool 😔 and now i feel like big dumb idiot for liking it

Nooo this movie is so good. Best movie of the year imo. It’s definitely an interesting concept and I can see why people don’t like it. Its more abstract than typical horror movies

It is interesting but it feels so unfinished until the sequel comes out. There had to be a better part to end on to keep interest alive.

i didn’t even know there was a sequel in the works. it didn’t seem unfinished to me… i thought it was just ending on mary’s figure to show that she was being reflected in the backroom dimension as well now that it knows her. just bc that’s what it does

Personally I didn’t enjoy the movie either but I think that’s partly cuz I went in with high expectations. Another reason I need to stop listening to review before watching shit

I don’t even watch trailers/ads for movies anymore because the reviews and the ads either ruin my expectations or make me not want to watch the movie. Going in blind is best anymore
