I think it’s extremely telling about the writers that as soon as the Asian woman who’s been mute the entire time gets to speak, every word out of her mouth is immediately about sex, and every bit of depth her character had suddenly disappears. Feels fetishistic as hell man.

I have thought this show has been getting progressively worse since Season 3 at least. And not because of the political commentary or anything, I’m not one of those weirdos who can’t acknowledge that the political commentary has been there since the start. It’s just been spinning its wheels, getting COMICALLY edgier to the point where it’s less shocking now than it was in S1. I’m only even watching S5 because I know it’s the end. If they were gonna keep milking this shit, I’d drop it.
