I stand with you on that, most people can’t tell what makes a good movie because it just makes them “feel good” when the plot is nonsense and it comes off as ingenuine

respectfully i don’t care if it’s from the comics. that still doesn’t make it “good” writing. characterizing them as parents who rlly only want him to “conquer earth” and spread his seed or whatever just to prop up the kent’s feels very icky to me

Imagine offloading your opinion of a movie to what “the consensus” says. What are you, the Borg? Make your own opinion, man. Did you like it because XYZ reason inside the movie? i think you misunderstood, lippy. personally, i think the movie was great. however, i dont think its great because others say its good. Overall, critically, as a fact, its deemed a good movie. idk why you were pretending it was good if you never even liked it, though. thats the real sheep behavior
