I can definitely accept that not knowing the lore takes some of the enjoyment out of it but it ended like midway through the story...

I'm sure they are but I literally said "what?" aloud to my friend when the credits started because it was literally mid-plot beat lol

I may be acting a little dramatic but it was still really bad. Dialogue is easily the worst part. I do not buy that half the characters have ever interacted with another human before (this is also a product of some rough acting). A lot of the character interactions just don’t make sense either. Certain actions that characters take are also incredibly stupid, even for a horror movie. I get that it’s meant for babies, but they don’t deserve this.

I think the acting of Michael Afton was really weird, but I’m pretty sure it’s because he’s not a human rn, Vanessa and Abby could use some work too
