Definitely sounds like an unfortunate take that the small one would have.

It’s genuinely my honest opinion as someone who watches a lot of movies. 1) MS was directed and written by the same director from uncut , 2) the line when Marty is talking to Racheal saying your destined to nothing and I am destined for greatness is exact parallel to whiplash diner scene where the guy breaks up with his girlfriend. 3) Baby boy (deep cut) is almost exactly similar in storyline of Marty Supreme.

I’m not saying Marty Supreme is awful, I’m just saying it’s very similar to other things I’ve seen and doesn’t feel original. BUT I really enjoyed the costume, cinematography, sounds, and lighting of Marty, just wasn’t my cup of tea and that’s okay.

The opening scene for example, with Jody in the stomach as a baby, very similar to Marty egg fertilization scene. Having a situationship/ gf baby mama and dealing with an unexpected pregnancy.

Both Marty and Jody, being broke, nothing in their name, both have a baby on the way. Both live in a dysfunctional family relationship with their mother. Sweet pea and Jody relationship almost exactly similar to Wally and Marty friendship. Also, the ex bf and Rachel husband. They are selfish and become fathers at the very end and struggle with responsibility. It’s almost funny how similar these two movie are. Idk what do you think?
