I will never forgive and never forget the Star Wars sequel. To ruin that much potential had to be on purpose, and honestly everyone who had anything to do with those movies should never be allowed within 100 feet of a set again, and possibly arrested.

I’m so sick of it because there are two things that are the main reason that the sequels are bad and neither are the actual creatives behind them. It was 1. Corporate greed which led to excessive meddling, and 2. Fanboys on the internet starting culture wars which increased that corporate meddling All the creatives from these films have done some really great work both before and after these films. They’re a very talented bunch. The idea that it had to be “on purpose” is so stupid.

EXACTLY. Star Wars fans act like Rian Johnson didn’t direct the literal greatest episode of tv ever 😭

No literally, but the thing is, they don’t really care about the creatives. They care about Star Wars not changing at all. They loved Force Awakens at first because it was just a new hope again, then Rian Johnson tried something new, and it scared them, so they forced Disney's hand, and they sloppily and completely redid everything for episode 9 with no extra time being given.

Now we are just at a point with Star Wars where we just pop around a few different eras just expanding on things we vaguely knew of, rather than seeing anything actually new to try and protect these fanboys' feelings 😭
