If you've never seen the film, you'd think that Michael B Jordan is playing both Vito Corleone and Hannibal Lecter in the same film, when in reality, he's playing the same character with one of them being angry and stern and the other being horny.

Funny meme, but I do disagree with it. The hardest part of playing two roles isn’t playing two different characters. It is acting off of yourself. Most acting is done by playing off the other person. Even in marvel slop where the acting is all done in a greenscreen box, they still have the other actors to sometimes bounce off of

You clearly didn’t actually watch the movie or pay attention then. MBJ even used different body language to differentiate between the two. It was more than just a toothpick. But if you didn’t notice then don’t worry! I’ve heard that racism coincides with idiocy.

Didn’t like a film = racism. I hate how just because a movie is of a different culture, all negative opinions have to be withheld.

Ugh stfu. If the majority realize and award its quality, you’re not disliking it because you see something that they don’t. Notice how people are picking it apart but where is all of the criticism for Marty Supreme? Having seen both the acting was great by both leads but one actor had to exhibit more range and one movie is just a plot created by mashing up things we’ve seen a million times before before.

It wouldn’t be racist if the criticism was valid but if you were viewing objectively then you would’ve seen the high level at which MBJ performed his craft.

Either way idrc. There’s a famous saying about arguing with fools so I’m going to remove myself (block the losers) to let the fools in this thread do what they do!

He literally made one character have dimples and the other doesn’t. The amount of face control to be able to do that consistently is INSANE. Or one character he made his shoes too tight so that his walk would be more quiet, and the other his shoes were 1-2 sizes too big so that he would walk with a bounce and more loud

I think reducing their characters to “angry” and “horny” is shortsighted and lowkey disrespectful to the writers and MBJ as an actor. Or you just didn’t watch the movie.
