there’s a huge difference between using sex as a narrative tool and filming sex solely for titillation. don’t get me wrong, i understand why it can be frustrated to watch sex scenes in movies, but it feels demeaning to write it off as porn.

It literally added nothing to the narrative. It was solely for titillation. I mean it was literally useless it was a sudden cut to solid 2 minutes of screwing and then ignored.

i wouldn’t say i’m “desensitized” to sex, but it’s a very healthy and natural part of my life, and i’m not uncomfortable watching sex scenes in art personally. i done want to get myself into your personal business or anything, but you might have a troubling relationship with sex if seeing it in a tv show upsets you this much. like, you might want to see someone about that. i hope this doesn’t come off as rude, i just hope everything’s alright in your life.
