I thought Matilda was okay. I think it’s a nostalgia thing I didn’t grow up watching it and only watched it my sophomore year of college

That’s very possible. Idk if you’ve read the book but it’s one of the movies that breaks the “books are always better” rule.

i would also add: the watermelon woman, a summer’s tale, secrets & lies, a moment of innocence, and sling blade. damn this was a great year for movies!
