You know what’s worse about that Kid Rock lyric? The song was in OSMOSIS JONES! A song with a lyric about underage girls was in a KIDS MOVIE!

not just the song, it SPECIFICALLY features the problematic part about underage girls and mandatory statutory 😭 in like a “club” scene. it’s nuts.

If you dig deep enough, there’s a lot of kids movies that have inappropriate songs and material in them that make you question their validity later on.

One quick example, was watching a SpongeBob episode randomly and there’s an episode with Patrick shooting lasers out of his ass and a scene where SpongeBob is about to put a quarter up Patrick’s ass to use as a telephone.

Not that I don’t see your point, but there’s a huge difference between weird butt jokes and a lyric about underage girls.

sir Rocko’s Modern Life was also weird for children but we universally recognize that now … saying legitimate CSAM CRIMES in a song and then on top of that being able to say that exact set of lyrics uninterrupted and uncensored in a *children’s film* is just completely fucking bonkers tbh. i grew up watching Family Guy and even they had some tact when it came to their pedophilia jokes smfh, it was KNOWN to everyone watching that it was not okay.
