this small indie theatre doesn’t have any popcorn or snacks whatsoever and this sushi was inauthentic and contained no fish so i don’t think it’s that deep lol

So is the price gouging that is committed for any and all food/drink that is purchased/consumed at the theaters these days. Believe me I want nothing but the movie theater experience to continue its meteoric rise back into the meta but with that being the case it’s time for food and beverage prices to go back down to an affordable level, or behavior like this will continue (and based off OP’s point doesn’t even sound like the place they went even serves food of any kind)
