Very! The movie would have to be longer to get it all in, but I felt like all of the best parts were there. There were a few small changes, but I feel they made the movie more enjoyable. I was surprised by how they even added a couple details that weren’t in the books but seemed to fit- graphic tees, the earth hackysack, and Grace’s love for the ocean - I loved the book and thought the movie was perfect- maybe a little disappointing if you came for the detailed science in the book but I didn’t
