Tbh I mostly use it really just to keep track of what I haven’t seen and what I ought to have seen by now, mostly because the UI for IMDb has been consistently ass the past few years now

usually if I see a movie I like, I use LB to see what other stuff the same director or actors have done and add those to my watchlist. it also has a built-in guide to where you can stream any given movie.

yes but you can also find new movies to watch based on the ones in your watchlist, letterboxd list and their genres and stuff. I got letterboxd earlier this year and I love it :p
