I don't see why liberal and republican are on the hats... especially considering liberal rivals conservative, democrat rivals republican.

Maybe the reason the prequels are so CGI heavy is because he just loves cartoons lol

the hats make a little bit of sense with the last jedi meme since conservatives especially hate the last jedi, but the actual reason is because it’s an edit of this meme.

As someone that's considered liberal, but much further left than "democrat" I hated the new trilogy. I should rewatch it though.

Also who is David Lynch? I feel I know the name but not who it is

looking at it now, this still looks like an edit of another meme lol. you get the idea though, it’s just part of the template

Yeah, I like movies, I watch a ton, doesn't mean I know who made what. I seriously have watched more movies than days in my life...

yeah i know lots of people with good politics who don’t like TLJ either, but you’d be hard pressed finding a chud who likes it lol

I just looked at his filmography. I expected a greater number for how you described it. Spielberg has a much longer filmography... even George Lucas is longer. Do you know Edgar Wright?

quantity ≠ quality. i’ve seen every edgar wright movie and most movies from lucas and spielberg and lynch wipes the floor with all three… in my humble opinion. all three directors you mentioned love his movies too. he and lucas were friendly back in the day; lucas actually wanted him to direct return of the jedi. spielberg cast him in the fabelmans and described him as one of his heroes.

Yeah, quantity isn't quality... I just hope you aren't telling me to watch what's basically Rosebud. I don't care for classics like that. I like something with an interesting story, emotion, intrigue, action, and proper cinematography(that's why I mentioned Wright... he's quite good at the filming aspect of storytelling)

that’s exactly why you should start with blue velvet

not to say his other movies don’t have all that too. they absolutely do, but blue velvet is the perfect sample platter of the various things lynch had to offer as a filmmaker.
