I just can’t understand this mass hysteria around Obsession. Total butt movie made for people with no media literacy. I’m fully convinced that people like it because it’s SOOO heavy handed they get to experience what it feels like to understand a movie

trust me ik movies don’t need inherent complexity. the difference here is 1. the extent of how heavy handed it is (ex: at the end the camera zooms in on the broken one wish willow like it wasn’t entirely clear that it was broken. 2. people are acting like its so complex and the best movie they’ve ever seen
