See I think Final Destination is the one franchise you could just make a hundred of and fill them with A-list actors every time and release one like every year or two

You need someone capable of filling Tony Todd’s shoes tho

Just because you CAN keep making them doesn’t mean you SHOULD. The franchise has become so formulaic that even the foreshadowing is predictable. Unless they introduce compelling storylines and characters, it’s just people waiting for their turn to die. Creative deaths don’t necessarily equal good storytelling.

Maybe not for every film, but he was certainly the highlight whenever he showed up

The thing is he was only in 4/6 movies and as cool as he was you don’t really NEED his character for the movie to be good, that was never the main reason people were watching a Final Destination movie

Tbf the ones where he wasn’t in them did turn out the worst 💀

Yeah but that’s not why they were the worst ones

Plus he was technically in 3, just not in the same capacity

In my book not having Tony Todd is always a deduction. That goes for any movie that he’s not in

Yeah maybe but Tony Todd not being in 4 isn’t even like the 8th worst thing about that movie

Regardless of the specific character, I think you do need someone who’s in the know for the characters to get information from, cause otherwise they’re not gonna know anything about what’s going on. Sometimes it’s just more entertaining for that role to be filled by some oddball than a Google search

Yeah sure but like Bloodlines also had the grandmother, you could definitely shake it up most of the time instead of making it the same type of person every time

I think they’re bringing back the final girl from the second one anyway to sorta fill that role

Yeah she’s really the obvious choice seeing as she’s the only character in any of the movie’s who isn’t confirmed dead I’m pretty sure

Still think it’s a missed opportunity killing off bro in between movies like that

Yeah his death should’ve been like the prologue cold open for 2 sort of like Friday the 13th Part 2
