It is like every other James Cameron movie after T2: it’s an okay movie, but made a bajillion dollars so everyone knows about it and remembers it, even when it doesn’t stand out from the other movies that came out at the same time.

It’s just a simple plot where the script isn’t important so it did well overseas. Poor guy gets to fuck rich girl, rich girl gets to fuck poor guy who dies so she doesn’t have to tie herself to a poor dude. Abusive fiancé grabs a random kid and claims it’s his to survive which is pretty funny

Honestly not really, I haven’t watched anything but clips of it and never once did it strike anything except for “oh, Leonardo DiCaprio… whatever” in me. It doesn’t look good and I probably won’t watch it unless someone else makes me. Doesn’t seem like an especially memorable movie, very basic plot.
