it just feels illegal after five oscar snubs ig… meanwhile ares was actually gorgeous so i kind of expected the visual-heavy film to get nominated instead

i thought area’s vfx were pretty bland lol. they certainly didn’t compliment the ugly ass freshman year film student’s idea of a refn film-ass cinematography imo lol
