The book is great. The movie is hot trash. It doesn’t convey the story very well and you lose a lot of power the book gave to the storyline and underlying plot that led to the hunger games we got with katniss.

Also Rachel zeigler’s “southern” accent made me want to put a bullet through my brain. It was so bad 😭😂

Her accent wasn’t southern it was Appalachian it was fairly obvious if you’ve ever talked to someone from Appalachia. Because 12 is from there

Adaptation as in book to movie? It was horrid in comparison to the others thy cut out so many important scenes and ma wasn’t even an actual character which made sejanus’ death scene lackluster

I haven’t read the book but I still think the story was very well done in the movie. Obviously the book is going to have more details that make everything about it hit harder but I still think the movie is great even just as its own story.

I apologize for my outburst I thought you meant they adapted the movie into a book that was not very nice of me and I hope you have sunshine and rainbows for all of your days
