DC has so many more interesting characters imo than marvel and im so confused on how marvel is more popular bc it just had 20 years of mid ahh movies

Batman alone has been appearing on some form of screen since 1943, DC has always been mainstream Marvel’s just currently dominating the market because the MCU keeps pumping out content

True, i wouldn't say DC is unpopular but to find a real fan who knows the characters outside of the big three is gonna be niche.

To be fair before the MCU no one really knew who Iron Man was, Spider-Man is the face of the comics and thus the most well known character.

no that’s fair. there’s a ton of batman fans around but i know very few people who are actually fans of the DC “universe” as a whole.
