It’s a HBO original, they haven’t made a good show since season 4 of GOT.

The whole flying baby in the first episode I didn’t really find scary. Same with the ghost kids in the third. I don’t like horror where they show the monster too often. I feel like during the episodes I see the scary thing so often it doesn’t scare me anymore. The only scene that really got to me was that girl getting birthed again by her mom and that was manly bc of how disturbing and gross it was not rly scary

I’ll stick with it bc the theme song is so good😭 I’m hopping it’s just a slow burn

i mean the fears are based off of these like 13 year kids, i kinda liked that it was slightly cheesy. before the losers pennywise was going absolutely ham every cycle so i think i makes sense we see him this much. the losers had the shine and were protected by maturin, and the 2017 movie misses out on a lot of other pennywise scenes in the book so that was less anyways.

With the exception of Chernobyl that show was amazing.

I can’t think of any. Westworld was mediocre (though I read the book first so that might give me some bias), Masters of the Air didn’t live up to the hype, the Last of Us, House of the Dragon, the Righteous Gemstones… need I go on?

This is the same company that in a 10 year span put out the Sopranos, the Wire, Band of Brothers, Rome, the Pacific and Game of Thrones. It’s a lukewarm take at best to say they’ve lost their touch.
