If you like the music from the movie definitely recommend K/DA they are very similar in my opinion with the rap and music type

Not really break up but there was this whole scandal at the start of the year because they wanted to take legal action against their company for mistreating them and now everyone hates them which makes no sense to me

its a lot more complicated than that. Newjeans was made by a company called ador, which is a subcompany of hybe. A few years ago, the ceo of ador did some real shady stuff to try to increase the money she was making off of newjeans. Hybe got pretty angry and fired her. But, the ceo of ador had pretty heavily groomed the newjeans members and started using them as a bargaining chip, as NJ was one of hybe's most profitable groups. The girls started threatening to leave hybe/break their contracts if

the ceo of ador wasn't reinstated, and the way they went about it was a bit problematic: threatening to break their contract (illegal), holding surprise press conferences without telling hybe first, etc. not only did they give an ultimatum to break their contract or reinstate the ceo, they also demanded that after leaving they would have access to their ip so they could keep performing as NJ. some fans think this is pretty entitled behavior, some fans say they're blameless and they're being

Manipulated by their grooming boss. Personally, I think it's a bit of both, but the bottom line is that it's a legal dumpster fire that could definitely have been avoided. They probably won't be back.
