Literally how? Bear is a pushover with no direction and his main personality trait is not pursuing what he wants most in Nikki. Nieman is committed asf to getting everything he wants in life and will stop at nothing to achieve it. He has drive and passion.

Obsession yes, it's a horror movie but they show a really gross dead cat. The left one you see blood but I think it's from him getting punched or something minor like a nosebleed.

Yeah the point of the second movie is that he's consumed by his obsession, same with the first movie. Both in opposite ways

Eh, I feel like their personalities and traits are just a little too different but that could be me.

Well their personalities are different but the plot of both stories is them becoming consumed by their obsession. Nieman with being the best drummer, bear with his desire to be with Nikki. One was consumed through inaction, the other through constant action.

Bingo. Both show the downfall of either extreme and how important it is to have balance
