bc it really wasn't anything special, it was a good movie but wasn't anything new on its own

It didn’t really “work” for me. I didn’t think Rocky was cute. Gosling wasn’t believable. Ryan Reynolds would have been a better casting choice. 4/5 star movie.

How was this a good movie? It was quite boring The sound and the visual were great but such a weak screenplay when you think about it

I thought it was special. Not in a risky reinvention of the genre way of special but in a solid science-based movie special (yes I know the science wasn’t totally accurate but they at least tried). The Martian was really special to me, and PHM was based on a book by the same guy, so I guess I’m biased. Not every “special” movie has to reinvent the genre or have a hot political message.

It’s my favorite movie since 2022. I recognize maybe it’s not the objective greatest auteur project, but it’s my favorite in a while

well yeah, but you can't expect people to be talking for it for a long time after if there's nothing particularly noteworthy about it. i liked it too.

It was fine, and I liked a lot about it, but it wasn’t magical or wow for me. I didn’t feel the hype. But it was good. Loved the cinematography. I felt like it was trying too hard to make us laugh at all times though. It was funny but also try-hard idk

The humor was very similar to the book but I didn’t think it was try hard
