I don't think so. They don't have any iconography or practices that indicate they celebrate the religious aspect of Christmas. I imagine it's like Nightmare Before Christmas where Jack interpreted Christmas his own way based on a small glimpse. A Horton type character probably heard a who and told a who a bit about Christmas.
