i hate AI for reasons beyond (and including) its environmental immortality. it’s deeply anti-art and a genuine eyesore to look at.

you can draw if you’re blind. you can draw if you’re paralyzed. you can draw if you don’t know how to read or write. art is an equalizer and everyone, EVERYONE has the ability to produce it. the only people who use the stance that being anti-AI is ableist are people who think it’s okay to steal the hard work of others. these are people who want the prestige of being an artist without any of the effort. it’s hollow and disrespectful to people who are actually disabled.

I’ve seen people draw with their feet because of hand disabilities. People with disabilities find their own way and we can help, but admitting defeat like this and saying non able-bodied people can’t draw is ableist

I’m disabled in multiple ways. Despite being visually impaired and having brain damage in several areas and hand tremors, I still draw. Not well, but I can do it without ai. It’s ableist to say that disabled people can’t make art without soul-sucking ai models that steal from original artists.
