There’s absolutely zero chance MLB puts a THIRD team in Florida. Orlando’s best and only bet was buying the Rays but TB just put their new stadium in motion. As for Nashville, they don’t have land or funding for a stadium and no ownership group

I forgot about Montreal existing, so they’ll get it. But there is still no reason those other 2 cities are ruled out. There’s plenty of space in Nashville, and Orlando is passionate about sports, so I wouldn’t rule it out.

But if MLB were to announce cities to expand to tomorrow, SLC and Portland maybe Raleigh are the most ready. I’m just saying that if the two most ready to go cities both end up being in the west, they should go there. As opposed to being fully anchored to one east and one west

Portland isn’t getting a team before Montreal, seeing as Montreal has not only more historical connections to baseball but also a functional stadium that has held games within this last decade. They have a place to play as the new stadium is being built, but okay, live in your fairy tale world.

I retracted Orlando, pal. Montreal, though, you have to be stupid to think they won’t be the next team out east. But okay, dumbass, Portland will totally get a team first.

Nashville has a whole group of people funding and apart of the push for it. Look up the Nashville stars and find their social pages
