I think it’s a bigger city setup to accommodate for the higher volume in the center. Granted, I do think it would be more sensible on the right—but also it could be based off of an actual roadway, some of those things are scarily designed.

The reason is because of the tram tracks in the center of the road. To avoid collisions with trams and to provide right of way to trams, hook turns are implemented

that’s actually kinda neat. would you ever add a tram? feel like minecarts are the most obvious vanilla way to do something functional, but the create mod and its whole custom trains thing would be perfect for it.

I’m a big proponent of playing vanilla Minecraft. I have built a tram model (stationary, ofc) and I think that is just what I’m gonna go with for now with those. I wish Minecraft had better options for city building, but I haven’t been particularly satisfied with any of the addons
