I genuinely thought people on YouTube were gaslighting me about how to pronounce shards for MONTHS bc I hadn’t bothered getting any in my survival world yet😭

as an archaeology student, that's gen what they're called in archaeological circles. Not sure what the reasoning behind that is but it's cool that minecraft adheres to that standard :)
