I might just be stupid but I felt like sharing bc for the longest time I always hated collecting colored carpet for my builds bc I was using individual dyes per wool block until I realized I can just do this. Hope this helps

Just a tip: you can automate wool farming using a dispenser and shears and a few very simple redstone components. It’s a super easy farm to build and it’s completely passive. The hardest part is getting the sheep in the chamber. I recommend looking up a quick tutorial on how to make one. I typically make one for each wool color in/near my base and then I just have wool whenever I need it. (This would be for efficiency. If you’re going for looks, stick with the pasture.)

I’m the assigned builder for my hardcore playthrough team and decided that upon furnishing the interior I’d give everyone their choice of carpet color and pattern for their individual rooms (it’s a big house/compound) and so I needed a faster and more efficient way to gather large amounts of wool of numerous different colors without needing to pick flowers for 3 hours lol
