My biggest note would be detail not the house itself more but the area around it. It’s super flat so maybe ur just experimenting with the house itself, but part of what really makes builds look good is how they integrate into the landscape. Pathway, small garden, maybe a tree or two, stuff like that

Also ignore that 1 single mangrove log in the front 😭 meant to break that

It’s really fucking good!! My only suggestion is alternating between cobbled deep slate and deep slate bricks on the foundation but other than that it’s amazing

that looks awesome!! i wonder if there’s something you could put on the stone in front of the ground-floor windows in front?

I think the house looks great. With the deep slate bricks on the bottom, you could add some more details there. Maybe pillars, slabs, plants, stuff like that

I would try to add some depth in the area around, a tori gate is easy to create in minecraft and would absolutely tie this build into the land around and is also somethimg that can be repeated while still holding value since you can have one outside the front of the house, one leading to a pons, another leading to a garden, and all will still be equally important without becoming repetitive

Good suggestion! I feel like I could transition the deepslate into the walls more smoothly

Wait this is actually so good! Idk why I forgot I could also texture the foundation lol. I will do that

Great point! I'm designing this to put it into my friend's server. When I do, I'm gonna add a small aesthetic pond or river, textured path, and custom cherry blossom tree!

Thanks, yeah I tried like a million different versions of slabs, trapdoors, fences, gates, stairs etc but I couldn't get it to look good on that section 🥲

Another thing i would say is try texturing the ground so it can blend into the environment a little more without being “placed”. Id do a very simple texturing with regular deepslate and deep slate bricks. It can be done by using world edit or by hand. Blend the edges in with the grass a little and it sets the foundation to have a “paved pathway” throughout the rest of the area the build rests on

Haha thanks! It's taken me years of practice to get to this point

Thanks! I do wanna add in a tori gate when I build it in the survival world. I also plan on adding lots more plants and ground texturing to make it look more natural :)
