FUN FACT (Day 26) You can “lock” chests in survival mode by making your pet cat sit on top of them. This will make them unable to open until the cat is allowed to stand and moves off the chest, which only you can do!

FUN FACT (Day 25) Before 1.21.11, to get the full effect of a splash potion you would need to throw it straight into the air above your head. Now you can throw it at your feet and still retain the full effect!

If you mean editions (bedrock v Java), yes. If you actually mean version, I’m nearly positive all versions since the cat sitting on chests was introduced this will work on (1.2.1, or since the 12w04a snapshot)

Yes but not easily. Especially if you put blocks around it so people can’t get to a spot where they can push the cat

They also sit on furnaces, and they’re still usable. You must plant a primary furnace as a bait prior to the chests 🙂‍↕️

I’d like to clarify I am talking about breaking the chest. Not hurting the cat.

I thought of hoppers for bastion chests to avoid piglin aggro but I can’t believe I never thought of that for cats on chests
