They should make an enchantment called reach that lets you mine a block further away from you or maybe your sword does swings a block further (sword sounds too op but having extra block or two for mining or chopping trees would be nice

then just for tools and their mining ability so like no damage associated with the extra block(s), also what is meteor

mb I hadn't slept and I was kind of making a bad joke. Meteor client is a Java edition enhancement loader/client for Minecraft that specifically has a mod to enable slightly further block place/break reach. I agree tho there should b a way in vanilla
