
u can ask ur therapist for a diff approach. therapy isnt just abt validating what ur feeling, it can also be abt helping u build the skills to get where u want to go. a good therapist should be able to take that & redirect. if not maybe u need a new therapist focused more on building social skills, practicing social dynamics, pushing u to engage w others, helping u break out of ur shell, allowing u the space to explore & get it wrong in session so u can get it right in the real world
