All ssris state that as SOON as symptoms that are trying to be treated worsen, talk to your psych. You don't want it to get unmanageable

So i used to be on one for 5 months but it was causing me dizziness and I couldnt function. So I stopped it and my anxiety got bad. I just started another one 3 weeks ago but its constant heart palpitations and im constantly having panic attacks.

It’s a genetic test for the metabolism of psychiatric meds!!!! Super super helpful for people who have tried a bunch of things that haven’t worked!

It happens everytime I take any ssri. She just keeps telling me to take it and eventually it will go away. But i went from being able to go to the store and drive, to not even being able to stand.

You need to find a new psychiatrist asap girl, that's very bad advice

If you're having symptoms that are affecting your life this severely, it doesn't matter if they will hypothetically go away eventually. If you want to switch meds your psych should be listening to you

I stopped taking them today. I hope i can go back to how i was before. The meds made me lose my job and I had to drop my in person class.

Yes, please take care of yourself. No medication that is functioning properly should ever do that to you

Ok thank you. My psychiatrist said it was just my anxiety. Im just going to try therapy and get a second opinion.
