I need advice please. I have tried countless times to tell my parents how bad I’m struggling but everytime they either say “I don’t want talk about this right now” or say nothing at all. I don’t know what to do (Cont in comments)

I’m 20 and would like to find a therapist myself can’t pay for therapy myself. They got my brother a new therapist the second he mentioned wanting help so I know moneys not the issue. I don’t know why they don’t believe me when I say I’m struggling or refuse to talk to me about it. I’ve overheard my mom telling my dad I’m just doing it for attention and I’m over reacting so I’m stuck

You should still be covered under their insurance. Just tell them you need therapy there’s nothing really to discuss with them. That’s for you to discuss with the therapist. Am I missing something

Some On-Campus Services include free confidential counseling and crisis intervention

My mom doesn’t want me going. She doesn’t want to pay for something I don’t “need.” I’m trying to figure out a way to pay for it myself, it’s just expensive
