God doesn’t exist. Realize that we’re a product of our biology and that nothing was orchestrated, this is just what resulted from the universe around us. it makes 1,000x more sense to look at it through that lens instead of asking why some “benevolent” creator is so cruel

So don’t listen to #1, God is real and loves you. Majority of society’s problems are due to other humans using their free will for evil. You’re beautiful, God made you beautifully and perfect but life is hard. If it was easy what’s the point of living? Once you overcome this obstacle you’ll be so content. I highly recommend prayer and lectio divina (a type of meditation) if you’re looking to get closer to God. I understand if not, but if you just need someone to tel to my DMs are open

OP something to note here: #2 summarized our positions perfectly. Science says to question everything, and to look at alllll of the evidence and believe what has the most to support it, religion says to stick your head in the sand and blindly follow it without question

There’s plenty of evidence showing that God does exist. There was even an atheist scientist that sought out to disprove God and couldn’t. There’s multiple witnesses to the death and resurrection of Jesus, #1 is just closed minded and unwilling to respect the beliefs of others. You’re more than welcome to find your own beliefs and opinions, that’s why we have free will 💜

A.) It’s impossible to prove a negative like that. Prove to me that the universe wasn’t created by a magical invisible unicorn last Thursday in its exact present state. There have been even more people that sought out to prove the existence of god and found nothing irrefutable B.) eyewitness testimonies that old aren’t remotely credible. They’re barely even credible when taken from the day before, let alone from 2,000 years ago when we didn’t know how anything worked

These problems that you attribute to “free will” are god’s doing as well if he exists. He purposely created everyone exactly as they were, knowing they would take every single action they’d take. By definition it’s not free will if your actions are predetermined before you take them. Your god doesn’t WANT me to believe in him or he’d show me exactly what I’d need to see in order to believe
