I mean I’d say its more that a lot more has been public than it was previously. Just look at the Regan era in the 80s. I’m sure kids have been being eaten for plenty of years now, it’s just social media and the internet has made it wayy easier for that stuff to become public, what was never supposed to get out in the first place.
