I stay inside my room so much to the point wear I’m starting to get worried. Going outside feels like entering an entirely different world. I also sleep WAYYY too much. I want to change, but I have 0 motivation. I feel like a lazy piece of shit.

Depression is not just sadness, the lack of energy, oversleeping, and that feeling when you go outside? Talk to someone, love. We could be wrong, and it could be some other illness, but regardless of what it is: go to a doctor, don’t wait.

Coming from someone who would constantly self-isolate and oversleep: don’t let yourself get too comfortable doing that. I’m now facing the consequence and am actively battling Derealization, social issues, and depressive episodes. If possible, just don’t— do anything that might help you break that cycle. 🙏🏻
