lost my aunt to suicide six days ago life has ever felt so horrible, so bleak, so wrong. i cry myself to sleep every night and live with a constant knott of grief in my stomach. i was so close to her and didn’t even she was struggling that way. god i loved her so fucking much. my first time dealing with grief and i feel so alone and scared and confused and angry and devastated and every other emotion.
You are not alone and there are millions like you. It’s such a sad, unfair and unfortunate feeling but it will not be the answer. I’m not sure what’s ahead but I know if I have up long ago, I would not have had the great experiences I have today. The bad cannot outweigh the good if you do not let it.. and we won’t because we are all stronger than that. Just watch!
As somebody who’s had a family member do that, sometimes I wonder if he had the chance, would he come back? Come back to search for healing and even possibly see me grow up. I mean, why rush death if it comes for everybody? Live as much as you can because once it’s gone, there is no wishing you had it back. Easier said than done but healing isn’t linear but it is possible. This is from somebody who has struggles too.. but i refuse to hit rock bottom again. Anything is possible friend
I am so sorry to hear this. First I want to say rest in peace to her and none of this is your fault. I know the feeling and it is very unfortunate. I hope you become strong enough to remain kind to yourself and others as well as spread more awareness for mental health/suicide awareness so we can further prevent this. At least she is at peace now and I hope you take it easy my friend. Sending you lots of support 🫂
