
Hey friend! I know how it feels, all you want is the thought to shut off but the more you think that the more it stays. What helps for me is not giving the thought too much power (it helps with just about any intrusive thought). You may not be able to control the thought, but you can take some deep breaths and try to let yourself be at peace despite the thought. It doesn’t have to hurt you, it can simply exist. I know it’s not the most satisfying answer, but that’s what helps me the most ❤️
