So genuinely when does life get better, I have a good paying job, and have done work to get my physical fitness to a higher level. But I still just have no motivation and have seen very little progress on my mental health

Congrats on both the job and physical fitness. While both are important to your mental health, they are unfortunately only supportive measures that help. Just like your body, you have to train your mind to get better. It’s not the end all cure all but a little self-reflection and meditation goes a long way. Don’t expect it to be night and day, it takes time and effort.
