I have a therapist, I'm heavily medicated for anxiety and since then I have lost all motivation for school. I barely attend, I missed a exam, I only enjoy going to work. If something similar has happened to you how did you overcome it or work around it?

probably not the answer you’re looking for but tbh I was in a similar situation a couple years ago and I just had to realize that I wasn’t going to be successful if I kept doing what I was doing. so I took a couple of semesters off and spent time doing work I really liked, got some perspective about myself and what I wanted. I found the motivation I was lacking and now i’m in my final semester about to graduate with a double major

I’m personally facing a similar struggle and have been for a year now. I found it helps to give myself treats every time I do something I don’t want to do. Treats can be monetary and small or allowing myself to a guilty pleasure of choice without judgment lol that does not include substance abuse etc. that’s still not okay 😂😂 when I face burn out for classes, I take one class instead of a lot. I make that one class my focus.

not the straightest path but i’m so much more confident and sure of myself now. sometimes you just have to prioritize taking care of yourself I guess

Associating class with rewards makes it easier to want to go. Even if it’s just for the sake of getting the reward lol I find it’s easier for me to do things when I’m there. It’s getting there where I find the challenge. Add a reward wherever your challenge may be 🤷🏻‍♀️
