Genuinely convinced this is all an experiment to see how much misery can be inflicted upon sentient creatures. It's genuinely ridiculous. They make everything as horrible as possible. Everything as difficult as possible. Literally just watching what happened to the internet from my childhood through now hammers it home. It was a fun, free, open network built by a bunch of passionate nerds. Then it was contaminated by corporate greed and shredded up into this horrible, nasty, evil hellscape
