I called 988. I told them I want to kill myself by today. They called Cops to the house. My Trumpie Parents of course made this about them. “Don’t care about things that don’t affect you.” 1/2

Aw babe. Take it as a sign that you do want to reach out to someone. The rapid response number will talk with you, but they all have to call 911 if it sounds like you’re going to DO something. I hope you get to talk with someone

Sorry that happened, honestly. That sucks. When I call 988, I’m careful with my wording. I don’t tell them I’m gonna do it unless I want cops there. I just beat around the bush and get coping strategies. Maybe that’s not helpful but yeah, fuck having the police called on you (don’t let it scare you away from 988 or getting help in the future though please)

I don’t know the protocol for that kind of thing but maybe if you try contacting them again let them know you just need to let it out to help you feel better or maybe even that having the police called would make things worse
