As someone with repressed trauma, I think it’s important to understand why I act a certain way. If I know where the origin is of that anxious feeling, then I can understand why I’m acting a certain way. That would help me to change the behavior

Bc then I can reason with myself, like I’m not in that situation or talking to this specific person person, and hopefully ease the anxiety
