Remember a narcissist wants attention. Does he fall in that spectrum? Other bias types are sociopath and psychopath. Sociopath is about power but not attention where they seek it with different makes that can parallel narcissist. Psychopath is someone wanting something that ain’t right and become a problem for those in the way.

Well our relationship is non traditional in the sense that my parents have been separated/divorced since I was very young with my mom as my primary caregiver. He’s been “present” but now that I’m older I realize just how little he actually contributed in ways that mattered. He absolutely seeks attention. Everything happens TO him and nothing is his fault and when people get upset with him they’re “crazy”

So how are you in his way? Is it because he wants attention? Also narcissists being heads of the household will have a scapegoat that kicks blame all to channel this attention to create ordeal and direct that attention.

I see. Do you care for him and want a happy ending of sorts? Or it’s about him being toxic and finding ways to cope as he’s around?
