It matters because this doesn’t really sound like something a guy would usually write, so it made me think it was a woman. But at the same time, you can’t really get disappointed when people don’t meet your expectations, because that’s kind of like trying to mold someone into what you want them to be, and then getting upset when it doesn’t work out that way
