i need direction i’ve noticed my mental health really tanks when i’m alone, and when in company i feel fine. and i find myself happy only when i’m with a partner. idk what to do.

I try to distract myself and make myself as busy as possible when I’m alone bc that’s when I start to really struggle.

But that’s just avoiding it. For me I need to learn better ways to cope with intrusive thoughts and loneliness. I had a hamster throughout college, and having something to take care of helped me feel not as alone. Maybe look into getting a pet? Tho you’d have to have the money for that.
